Characteristics Of A Successful Online Entrepreneur – Real Advice

She’s a successful digital marketer and meets many characteristics of a successful online entrepreneur. Meet Grace
Grace is a stay-at-home mom who has been blogging since 2012. She has learned a lot since then, and her business has grown exponentially! I met Grace through an online website building/training program. She’s generously agreed to answer some of my own personal questions as well as some I’ve included in this post. Take a look at some of her advice!
1- How and when did you find Wealthy Affiliate?
I was searching for another way to make money online because I wanted more freedom with my location, time, and how I worked. So as I was searching, I came across WA and instantly fell in love with it which was back on Sep 2016.
2- What is the best piece of advice you ever received?
Failure is part of success and without it going through failed attempts you can’t reach your goals.
3- How did you come up with the idea for your website?
I’ve always loved the idea of making money online so that was going to be my niche right from the beginning.
4- What is the biggest mistake you have made in your business?
Depending on one major source of traffic. You can’t do that for too long without running into problems so you need to make sure you have several sources of traffic.
5- How do you create content for your website?
Everything is based on keywords, and if you take the training at WA, you’d know what I mean. 😉
6- What is the best tool or training course you have ever bought for your business?
Definitely the membership at WA. The community alone is a huge bonus to the membership, let alone all the training, tools, and the amount of information you can learn on this platform is mind-boggling!
7- Where do you see your business in 5 years?
I hope to have my own courses by then, who knows, 5 years is a long time in internet time.
8- Who do you regard as role models in your business?
People who grind it hard to make it. The owners of WA are incredible examples of what one can accomplish with commitment, hard work, and always providing value. I look up to other entrepreneurs in my space who have built their business honestly and with the utmost integrity.
9- What would be your top 3 pieces of advice for a new entrepreneur?
There’s not enough hard work to be done. To find success, you need to put in the hard work as well as doing it consistently. Many people shiny object syndrome and they will jump from one thing to another, but a lot of those types of products/systems don’t last. People who concentrate on building one thing for the long term will always win in the end than chasing fast cash.
10 – What do you enjoy doing when not working on your business?
Definitely spending time with my family. There’s never enough time with my family because we all have our own things we need to do and the free time that we all have together is very limited. I often need to make time to spend quality time with them instead of just seeing each other for the day-to-day grind. On the weekends, we try to do more things that are fun and we can really enjoy each others’ company.

** Work Hard! Work doesn’t complete itself. If you’re jumping in with an end goal of being your own boss, you need to know that it’s not going to happen overnight. It takes time, commitment, and a whole lot of patience. You’ve got to put in the work if you’re going to see the results. Your hard work upfront will pay off for your future, as long as you stick with it!
* Be open to failure and learn from your mistakes. It doesn’t matter what direction you choose to take in life, you have to be open to the idea that not all ideas are successful ones. However, if you are someone who can handle some mistakes and learn from them, you have what it takes. Don’t be afraid of some failure; it will help keep you grounded and learning!
