How I Grow My Twitter Followers And Get Free Traffic For My Website

Spread the love

People often ask me how I get free traffic for my website and to be honest there are actually dozens of ways!

One of the ways that has been working very well for Heidi and me recently is by sharing a lot of our content on Twitter and letting people click on the Tweets and come through to our blogs and other pages on our sites.

This is all well and good if you have a large number of Twitter followers and your Tweets get seen by many people. It’s not so effective if you only have a few so one of the first things to do is to grow the number of followers you have in your Twitter account. In this video I explain how to do that and also how to keep your account tidy by unfollowing people who don’t follow you back using a tool called UnfollowSpy.com

  1. Wow. This tool Unfollowspy is just amazing and  i really want to try it. I’m trying to build an online business by using my social media account and promote some workout supplements. First time i would like to do it using Instagram because Twitter isn’t very popular in my country.

Do you know if it is possible to grow my Instagram traffic with this or another tool?

Thanks a lot and keep in touch!

    1. To be perfectly honest we dont really use Instagram much in our business. I personally don’t use it at all and I think Heidi is really only starting to look at it. So unfortunately I can’t help you much with that. I have no doubt that it could be a good source of traffic though – just as every other social media platform can.

I’m glad you liked the idea of using unsfollowspy. We think it’s great just for keeping our accounts tidy.

  2. Converting followers form your social media page to your site is a good step to developing the leads available on your site and social media has been playing a really vital role in helping with leads creation. Although only a few affiliates know how to make use of this opportunity to develop their site. Twitter is one of the few social media platform with so much user and so making use of it for creating traffic would be effective.

    1. Hi Benson. Yes I totally agree that using social media to drive traffic to your business site is something all marketers should be doing. It’s just a matter of finding and following people in your niche and hoping they return the favour. Keep sharing content on social media nd you will see a steady stream of traffic.

  3. I have been making use of social media in having traffic to my site and its been really helpful all the while. I have been making use of Facebook for a long time and learning how to make use of Twitter which I really fancy the ideas a lot is really cool. I will just create a Twitter account and try to grow the account so I can make use of this nice alternative. Cheers

    1. Hi Bella. I’m sure you will find having a Twitter account will really help you to grow your traffic to your sites. Keep following people on a regular basis and use unfollowspy to keep your account under control by unfollowing people who dont follow back.

  4. Hello David (and Heidi) 🙂

Thanks for sharing this useful information on how to grow twitter followers. Okay, before now I was running a YouTube channel where I do graphics design tutorial using Android. I knew it wasn’t easy to get subscribers, this idea popped in my brain bo-o-o-o-ox. I did exactly what you’re showing now using Facebook and Twitter. Twitter was quite easy; I followed people in my niche but I wasn’t aware of that website (unfollowspy dot com) you recommended. So I had to do the unfollowing from twitter. For Facebook, I created another Facebook account and a Facebook page. I added people in my niche as friend and I invited them to like my Facebook page.

This really helped me alot to grow the channel. Now I want to go into Affiliate Marketing and I will apply this too.

    Take care 🙂
